The Jacqui Walker Band are a dynamic musical ensemble who blend Soul, Blues and funky RnB influences, offering a unique take on timeless classics. Jacqui's versatile vocals are a highlight, adding soulful depth to every song. Backed by a talented line-up of musicians.
Band founders, Jacqui (vocals) and Glen (bass) have recently returned to the Gold Coast from Victoria, and have joined with two incredible local musicians who have played all over the world. Jamie Mercer (drums) and Anthony Blazley (guitar) are thrilled to join JWB.
JWB’s repertoire spans six decades, featuring hits from legends like Jimi Hendrix, Etta James, B B King, Ruth Brown and Cream.
JWB have enjoyed 13 years of regular gigs as as band, and each member individually has on average 30 years of professional performance experience in a wide variety of shows, venues and audiences. JWB pride themselves on their profesionalism, energy, audience interaction and fun.
